Band Mom: Volunteering with my boys' marching bands for the past 9 years!
Fav food: Indian and Thai cuisine, and of course chocolate! I love almost all desserts, lol.
Plant Hobbyist: I've filled my home with plants and love to find new ones to add to my collection.
Hi, I’m Julie.
I’m a photographer, a wife, and a mother of four. I grew up near Chicago, but I’ve made Texas my home for more than 25 years. When I’m not behind the camera, you can catch me enjoying a long bike ride, experimenting with a new recipe (currently trying my hand at sourdough), or exploring different locations for our next adventure.
Why I don’t pick just one niche:
I was once advised to "choose a lane," but I’ve found that my strength lies in documenting the whole story. I love the high energy of a senior session, the delightful chaos of a family portrait (yes, even with the grumpy dads!), and the sweet, rewarding challenge of a newborn session. As a mom of older kids, I miss those early years—which is why I love working with little ones so much! No matter the age, I bring plenty of fun energy and tricks to capture authentic smiles.
My goal is simple: whether we’re documenting a major milestone or a "just because" family moment, you’ll receive professional, high-quality images (traditional poses and candid!) that feel like you.
Outside the studio, I’m a passionate traveler and street photographer. I enjoy documenting life’s real moments—from everyday routines to extraordinary trips.
